In our most popular category, Within Temptation singer Sharon den Adel edged out Evanescence singer Amy Lee to win the Rock Goddess of the Year in the 2011 Loudwire Music Awards. |

More than 50,000 fans voted in the Rock Goddess of the Year category, and only a few hundred votes separated Sharon den Adel from Amy Lee. The Within Temptation frontwoman received 40.5% of the vote, while the Evanescence vocalist garnered 39% |
